Lauren graduated from the University of Maine at Orono where she earned a BA in 2017. She then attended the University of Maine School of Law where she earned her JD in 2020. She is admitted to the Maine Bar and the United States District Court for the District of Maine.

During law school Lauren was an Editor of the Maine Law Review, competed on the Maine Trial Team and held leadership positions in the Women’s Law Association, the Juvenile Law Society and the Maine Association for Public Interest Law. She also practiced as a student attorney at the Kennebec County District Attorney’s Office and the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic. As a student attorney Lauren participated in trials, argued an appellate case in front of the Maine Supreme Judicial Court and assisted prisoners with various civil issues. During school, Lauren was selected to be in the Charles A. Harvey, Jr. Trial Practice Immersion Fellowship which provided her with intensive trial practice experience.

Lauren started working at Marden, Dubord, Bernier & Stevens as a legal intern during law school and became an Associate Attorney in 2020. She focuses her practice primarily on all areas of insurance defense but also takes a variety of criminal and civil cases.

Lauren grew up in Winthrop, Maine and is a 2013 graduate of Winthrop High School. She currently resides in Wayne, Maine with her husband. She enjoys hiking, skiing, boating, and spending time with her family and friends.
